The verified football moment
On November 1, 2016, Arsenal beat Ludogorets 3–2 in the UEFA Champions League. In its match report, UEFA described Mesut Özil lifting the ball over the goalkeeper and completing the move while two defenders tried to intervene. The goal completed Arsenal's comeback.

That report supports the date, score, competition context, and action. It does not establish who later made the first AI version or which social post should be called the beginning of the trend.
What the AI version changes
The newer format replaces the scorer with the person or original character shown in a reference image. The recognizable idea is retained: a delicate chip, pressure from the goalkeeper and defenders, a finish, and a short celebration. It is a creative reconstruction, not match footage.
On this site, the sequence is prepared in advance. A user supplies one authorized full-body image of an adult and chooses the output settings; there is no action prompt to write. The result can be a 5- or 10-second MP4 in 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape, at Standard 480P or HD 768P.
Why the format is easy to recognize
Three traits make the idea readable in a short clip:
- The action has a clear beginning and payoff. The chip sets up an immediate question: will the ball and scorer get past the defence?
- The scorer can be replaced without changing the basic story. A normal office worker or an original animated adult can create a comic contrast with the composed finish.
- The frame suits short-form viewing. A 9:16 version can fill a phone screen, while 16:9 gives the play more horizontal room.
These are observations about the format, not claims about platform algorithms, audience size, or guaranteed reach.

How to make your own version
Use one clear, well-lit full-body JPG, PNG, or WebP image of an adult you have permission to feature. Keep the file at or below 10 MB. Then choose the duration, frame, and quality before generating.

Posting an AI-made version
Do not describe the output as authentic match footage or imply an endorsement that does not exist. If viewers could mistake the clip for a real event, clearly disclose that it is AI-generated. TikTok publishes its own guidance about labels and disclosure on its AI-generated content help page.
Platform rules can change, so check the rules that apply when and where you post.
